I’m a Trainer based in Santa Barbara, CA.
I believe in throwing the old adage of "no pain, no gain" out the window. I design workouts that are the most efficient way to achieving your goals by building a respectful relationship with fitness to promote consistency.
Our programs are designed for people looking to improve their quality of life with minimal effort. That's not to say our approach is easy, but we focus on your strengths and aim to make exercise simple.
Exercise should be SIMPLE, unfortunately the fitness industry is using information-overload to confuse a basic concept- anytime you are able to exercise and move the body, you will benefit. Circulation improves, mindset improves, your muscles get stronger, and a list of other positive changes occur as well.
We believe a fit and healthy body can be achieved with three 30 minute sessions per week. We also recognize that resistant training is a tool that can relieve stress and be used as a time to reflect on where you are and where you want to go.
Below is an overview of our core values and what to expect:
Core Values:
Exercise is essential for a healthy, balanced life.
Workout routines should be programmed to be enjoyable in order to promote consistency. Programs should also aim to decrease stress.
Feeling good and being healthy should take precedent over killing yourself for a photoshopped body.
Foundation of Programming:
Our programs are designed to improve health and every part of your life (i.e. physical, mental, emotional).
We use measurements of Resting Heart Rate, Maximum Strength, Strength Endurance, and Cardio to test your baseline and track improvements.
Every program is rooted in 6 functional movement patterns of human beings:
Squat
Push-up or Chest Press
Deadlift
Pull-up or Row
Overhead Press
Rotation
